Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 The name of this association is Taiwan Neuroimmunology Medical Society (hereinafter referred to as the TNMS).
Article 2 The TNMS is a non-profit social organization established in accordance with the law, with the purpose of promoting the research and development of neuroimmunology in Taiwan and international academic exchanges.
Article 3 The tasks of the TNMS are as follows, and shall be promoted and implemented in accordance with relevant laws and regulations:
- To promote research and application in the fields of neuroimmunity such as the central, peripheral and neuromuscular disorders.
- Promote the development of treatment, diagnosis, research and policy in the field of neuroimmunology.
- To promote international academic exchanges in the field of neuroimmunology.
- Provide the latest medical knowledge of neuroimmunology and enhance the rights and interests of patients with rare diseases related to neuroimmunity.
- Regularly hold academic lectures and seminars on neuroimmunology.
- To handle other matters related to the purpose of the TNMS.
Article 4 The competent authority of the TNMS is the Ministry of the Interior Affairs. According to the purpose and tasks stipulated in the articles of TNMS, the competent authority of the target activities is mainly the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Article 5 The society takes the national administrative region as its organizational area.
Article 6 The meeting site of the society is located in the area where the competent authority is located, and may be reported to the competent authority for approval to set up a branch.
The organizational rules for the branches referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be formulated by the board of directors and submitted to the competent authority for approval.
The establishment or change of the address of the meeting and branch offices shall be reported to the competent authority for verification.
